Higher payout rates – This is not proven yet. So far I have never read any blogger got paid yet, but since they are very new, have to wait a while.

Now, it is proven. I am not making any money with Mangga Ads. I have cashed out a few times with Nuffnang, but with Mangga Ads, only RM8.88 for the past 9 months. It’s a waste of advertising space. I think, I can make more by utilizing that space with Adsense.

Has anyone made any money with Mangga Ads?

A lot of people has been asking. If you are one of them, and have been asking where is my online income is coming from, one thing I can confirm is, it’s not coming from one source.

I don’t have my own products. I don’t write ebooks to sell. I don’t sell on ebay (not yet, maybe?), although my brother is an eBay Power Seller. I don’t even do blog setup. Did a few, but all for free.

I put advertisements on my blogs, I do product reviews, trade links for money and lately I have been trying to sell other people products through affiliate marketing.

The reasons for not having my own product are due to:

• I don’t like to answer too many questions and
• I don’t like to support users as I am already doing that at office
• I think that I should first make money by selling other people products

I might think about it later, though. Selling my own stuff …. but even if I do, the info will be extracted from this blog … word by word

I am not making as much as Rohaizad currently. He’s a problogger while I still have a day job. There’s a lot of different. But the amount I am making monthly is consistent and rising. It started as ‘just testing’ to make money for fun, but now, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

Regardless whether you are selling your own products or other people products or just making money from advertisement, you just need to read, follow and repeat. Do it consistently and you will see some results.

I will wait until the level of 500/day before I start to monetize this blog with Adsense or with any other advertising network. That in about 3-6 months. Possible?

Looks like problems in the real world has started to affect the virtual world (and almost everyone). Read TechCrunch.

The US is in a recession. Germany, Europe’s biggest economy, is in a recession. Same goes to Singapore and Japan. Although Malaysia is not (yet), but the problem at the other parts of the world will affect us eventually.

Advertisers are reducing their online advertising budgets and consumers are also spending less to save more money which will make us, the people that are making money with blogs, get lesser. As a part time blogger, who is also making money on the internet, these are the few steps I’m taking so that when everything is back to normal, I’ll make more.

I am going to (in sequence) :

• Start to increase the traffic to my sites further. By at least 50% by year end.
• Make more money from links. Will negotiate further to sell from post with high PR rather than from sidebar only. Use a broker rather than direct. I know Google will not like this (some people even call it unethical). To me it is still advertisement.
• Increase affiliate marketing income.
• Start using Private Label Articles.
• Open up more advertising space, but without turning my blogs into brothels.
• Try new advertising network. See whether there are others that can complement the current ones that are already making money.
