As of today, to get your domain setup with AdSense for domains, you can simply delegate your domains’ nameserver to Google’s DNS nameserver. This is typically a single step with your registrar, and simpler than the old method of changing A records and creating CNAME records. You can still use the old method if you prefer, and domains that are already set up will continue to work.

Which means that, if you want to setup a domain for adsense, just log in to your domain registrar and set the domain nameserver to point to AGoogle’s DNS nameserver. All you need to do is change you domain’s nameserver to be all four of these values:

• ns1.googleghs.com
• ns2.googleghs.com
• ns3.googleghs.com
• ns4.googleghs.com

If your domain is registered with NetKL. Log in and go to My Domain, and then change all the Nameservers as example below:

But … don’t forget to setup your domain at Google Adsense. You need to setup on both sides for it to work.

If you want to make money with Adsense, you only need to do these two things:

• Build a niche blog that will make you a lot of money per click.
• Bring in the traffic.

There are lots of ebooks out there that could teach you on how to do keyword search or how to pull more traffic to you blog. Before you invest any money on ebooks on Adsense, it’s better that you learn the basics first yourself.

Make some sense by visiting Inside Adsense at http://adsense.blogspot.com. This is the first place your should go if you need more info on Adsense. Without equipping yourself with the basics, then most probably you will always be conned into chasing next big Adsense ‘thing’ by the so called (irresponsible) gurus out there.

There are some who really want to help and share their success, but there are also those who just wants your money by selling you crap. So, without the basics on Adnense, you are an easy bait.

If you already have the basics, then you would know whether the products they are selling is worth buying or not.

Making money online, although easy, but to make a lot of money and getting it consistently, is not. It took him years to be where he is now. So what make you think you can do it overnight?

I am not telling you that you should stop investing in yourself. You can buy whatever ebooks you want. The money is yours, right? What I am trying to tell you is, get the basics right first. Adsense is from Google, so why not learn from Google on how to use first and then only get more information from other places.

I have seen to many failures due to that. About a year ago, I have a lot of links at my blogroll page, but when I reviewed all the links again, I found out that some of the domains have already expired. Those bloggers started with make money online blogs, but seems like they gave up half way.

The main problem is – they were chasing one opportunity after another. Always looking for ‘the next big thing’. Another problem is – they believed the hype.

There are so many information out there on making money online. If you want to try all, you brain will just die. You will be suffering from information overload. You need to stop this. You need to stop chasing ‘the next big thing’. Just stick to one.

If you started making money online with Adsense, stick to Adsense. You can still make money with Adsense. I am. If you started with eBay, stick to it as well. My brother is still making a lot of money by selling underwears (not used ones ). He knows that I make money from Adsense, but he’s sticking to what he knows best.

You only need to be consistent, and focus your attention to one thing. Set your SMART goals and targets. Then only you can succeed.

Hosting
I had to decide whether to stay with the the old hosting company or move. I had to re-organized and re-group similar blogs together. The ones that have been receiving more traffic from US are moved to a US server. The ones that are still in infancy stage are group together while the one that are already making money need attention to grow.

Seems like there are many blogs involve, but there’s only a few actually

New Domain
There’s also a domain that needed a new name. After a while, a personal blog tends to head towards a specific niche. So in order for it to grow further, I decided that it needed a new domain name. Hence Comics & Games dot com. That way, if in the future I decide to sell it, it will be much easier. This took a while, as planning is quite crucial. Maybe I’ll do a post of domain migration later.

The niche may not be as profitable as Cyza’s Chemical Engineering, but as long as I can maintain the traffic, it will do just fine as I am blogging about what I like. And in October 2009, after marketing related affiliate products on that blog, I got my first affiliate commission from Commission Junction. Although a small amount, but it is a start.

Most of my time was spent on this particular blog and it was fruitful. Alexa rank has gone up. Traffic has doubled and Page Rank is now 2.

If you look at the statistics of the most viewed posts on the left, you will know what I mean. And that does not include the main posts yet. I have a few anchor posts that will be the main pillars of the blog, and those will only be posted in the first quarter of 2010.

New Niche
There’s also a new niche that I am experimenting. Will blog about this in detail later. It’s a video blog, however  copyright may be an issue. Not be my cup of tea, but it is already making money. May consider to sell it. Anyone interested?

Joint Venture
There’s one project with another blogger that started in August 2008. A blog specific to Johor Bahru, although I am not from Johor JB Cool is currently looking for guest bloggers. So, if there’s anyone interested, let me know

And a few other things. I am also considering to build my own list. Have been blogging and making money for quite some time, but no list yet. Most IMs says that the money is in the list, but I don’t have any yet. You can still do it without a list, but having one does make it easier
