If this is the real thing, and the price is between RM71K to RM76K, I have only 1 word for it. Wow!

It’s true! The Proton Exora picture above is the real thing. Missed the launch yesterday. Did drop by a Proton Edar showroom at 6:30PM, but the car was still covered.

The close encounter was during lunch today. The Exora looks more spacious than other MPVs in its engine class. Even spacier than my 2.0 Citra.

From the front, it looks similar to a Honda, don’t you think?

The Proton Exora, is powered by a 1.6-liter CamPro CPS engine while the transmission is by Mitsubishi. For a MPV that size, not sure how’s the performance. I just hope that it will not be a big letdown like toyota Avanza 1.3. You have to test to find out, but make sure you bring along the whole family.

First impression – for the price between RM69,998 and RM75,998 with good looking exterior design, plus the spacious interior and extended warranty of 175,000km (or five years), this car will be a hot item.

The current Proton Exora price list for the H-Line and the M-Line, effective 15 April 2009, which I got from Proton Edar. The price differences is due to the accessories, and the H-Line comes with a GPS.

This is the interior and exterior differences among Exora CPS, Grand Livina 1.6 and Avanza 1.4. Find a place where you can find a Proton, Nissan and Toyota showroom next to each other, then you will really know the actual differences :)

    from your explanation above, i’m sure it will hit other competitors in the same segment..
    but what other MPV in the same class? citra is 2.0, avanza is 1.5..

    wahh..not bad oso the price..i think laa..the design oso not bad la..tak penah naik citra but from the pics..it does look spacious..ok la for a family car..affordable jugak..

    I got more, but maybe will update it later. Avanza 1.3 and 1.5 is in the same segment. Lavina 1.8 is also in the same class as Exora 1.6 produces the same horse power as a Lavina 1.8. Not bad, kan?

    memang cantik..tapi aku masuk byk forum pasal exora nie. ada kata boot depan bunyi kuk kak kuk kak, then ada yang kata pintu kurang bagus..smlm aku baca komen org yang baru beli exora nie..baru pakai 2 hari sudah htr balik ke proton sbb ada problem then proton pun tak tau pesai…camno tu..

    Mana pulak under power? 1.6 dia lagi power dari livina 1.8 .. kalau macam tu, Livina lagi teruk lah.

    Aku pakai proton dah nak masuk 8 tahun. Masalahnya power window aje. Setakat nak pergi Brothers and tunggu lebih kurang sejam dan bayar RM100++ untuk dua-dua belah, small matter aje kalau nak bandingkan sebab benda kecik ni nak beli kereta yang harganya berbeza lebih RM30 ribu.

    Setakat masuk forum, kekadang tu perkara kecik saja diperbesarkan … macam Wira dulu. Rata-rata problem wira ialah power window, absorber dan bumper senang tanggal. Tapi yang mengutuk … mak ooi, macam lah kereta tu teruk sangat .. tapi dari segi value for money, ia memang berbaloi.

    Salam smua, aku dh beli exora.. perjalanan jauh dari ayer hitam sampai ke pengkalan kubur tumpat kelantan.. so far so good.. 3 kali berhenti tapi x memenaTkan.. seronok.. sampai kg. ramai la pulak nak naik so 11 org naik.. 5 org dok belakang skali.. depa enjoy.. aku rasa sungguh puah ati.. aku beli high line colors putih, tambah scerting & double tintird.. kasi gelap so cun skali pandang mcam wish la pulak..

    good for you. i am a proton owner myself, but a wira. I also have a Viva which my wife bought for her father. My sister own a Myvi, but I still feel that Proton is better :)

    I had monitor and heard lots from friends about exora. Honestly the only thing I worry is does it really under power?? Cox I got 7 family member..afraid lot if under power! Does anyone got info bout the fuel comsumtion?? Full tank how much? How many kilos can it go?? It’s only take me 1 step ahead to buy one now…I really like the outlook and the gear ladder!

    Salam semua exorian dan yang nak review keta exora,

    I beli exora bulan June 2009; so some comment dah 6 bulan pakai dan mileage 10000 km ni.
    1) Exora bawak atas highway 7@8 orang tak ada hal…maintain 140 km/j even naik bukit (contoh; Terowong menora kat Ipoh tu)
    2) Fuel consumption lebih kurang RM 70 pegi melaka ke Ipoh maintain 120 km/j dan bawak 7 orang dewasa.
    3) Power ok cuma bila laju n ada kerete sengal kat depan bawak slow n kita pun slow..bila nak potong balik ada rasa kureng sket…
    4) Keta tak ada apa2 masalah cuma haritu temp amplifier air cond rosak tapi dah baiki pasal under waranty
    5) Yang akhir…exora memang worth it dari segi price, praticality as MPV n safety function….dari keta2 MPV yang lain tu….

    Sy adalah pengguna setia Jenama Proton sejak mula memiliki kereta. Survey ttg MPV national dr thn lps tgu dan cari info ttg model MPV Proton dan Perodua. Nk tgok secara live kedua2 versi tu, nyata Exora-Proton mempunyai ruang dlm lebih besar dr Alza-Perodua. Tp segi injin cuma Alza mengunakan timing chain tidak mengunakan timing bell. Tp nampaknya hati lebih terikat dgn Exora.. Masih menunggu feedback drpd user-user Exora…. Hmm dgr cite pula tahun nie juga akan kuar model exora yg terbaru.. Upgrade cc or touch-up design…
    Any body know !!!

    Is Proton really that nice? Yes :) The price, performance and long term maintenance, Proton is a real value for money.

    Perodua is too damn expensive for a small car.

    dari dulu aku guna proton.saga ada masaalah window,wira ok,waja yang aku nak tradein dengan M-Line Manual pun tak ada problem selama 5 tahun aku pakai.harap harap exora nanti tak ada problem,ruang barang besar bolih aku guna untuk bawa barang lebih

    saya beli exora awal sept09,tp malangnya exora sy mengalami banyak masalah besar spt;bau petrol,absorber berbunyi,aircond terlampau sejuk,blower aircond on/off sendiri,valve bunyi kuat dan terdapat bunyi benda longgar didasboard penumpang.Trpaksa berulang alik kepusat service.Siapa yg harus di persalahkan.pekerja proton or top mgmt.pengguna jadi mangsa.Tlg bagi pendapat.

    Kalau dah tahap macam tu, dah tak boleh duduk diam. Ni dah patut buat official komplen. Komplen pulak, jgn bisik-bisik, bagi betul-betul bising. Duit dah keluar, tapi produck macam haprak.

    Tapi, jgn risau, kau bukan seorang, adik aku ada masalah yang sama dengan Myvinya. Kawan baik aku pun ada masalah sama dgn Naza Ria nya. Yang penting, komplen letter tu mesti sampai ke tangan top management.

    aku guna model peoton waja dah 6 thn, takde masaalah. org kata proton banyak masaalah tapi aku rasa ianya berhubungkait dengan cara penggunaan kita jugak. tak boleh salahkan proton jer. smlm dah tgk exora dan InsyaAllah tak lama lagi nak beli satu. boleh bawak 2-3 org bini sekali gus.

    aku bangga ngan proton coz aku dah guna saga selama 13 tahun sblm aku tukaq ngan waja sebelum exora keluaq, tengah dok kira-kira nak tukaq pakai exora plak pasai lubang ekon dia sampai tempat dok belakang compare to alza

    nak kongsi pendapat mengenai penggunaan minyak.dulu pakai waja manual 1.6,minyak kira ok juga.sekarang dah beli m-line exora,minyak ron95 rm40.00 purata 195km saja.2 kali isi dapat purata yang sama.memang load dia macam tu ka?.isi muatan pun 5 orang saja.
