A simple question that has been repeated (and answered) a million times, but still … not many people can maintain the consistency even though tips of doing it can be found anywhere across the blogosphere. Sometimes, they are just being repeated 
from one blog to the other, written differently of course.
When you have a blog, there’s nothing more important than traffic. Traffic = Money, especially if you are monetizing your blog.

I have a niche blog using blogspot, which I only update about 2-3 times a month. It’s not making much, but the income is consistent and the fact I don’t need to update it frequently makes that blog very special. However there’s a problem lately. Traffic and CTR are consistent, but earnings have come down by almost half. Income (Dec 08 – Jan09) coming from direct advertising is affected too.
Looks like problems in the real world has started to affect the virtual world (and almost everyone). Read TechCrunch.

They are denying, but changes to the ownership of Liverpool will surely bring in capital to progress the new stadium project and some new players. Anyway, does football contributed to the current financial problem? Hyped prices and overpaid players? Hmmm. (3)
