Speed up your connection using a proxy. I got this info from Sam (ServerFreak) in the afternoon, but only got the chance to update now. Refer to his blog for details.

    hmmm…what did he mean by using proxy to speed up the internet? what is making the streamyx slow in the first place?

    usually we use proxy to bypass certain setting right? but for this case, i didnt ask for details. maybe you should post this at his blog :)

    it was very slow yesterday. today was better. i might try if it gets slow later.

    yes and no actually..it depends on the firewall configuration if taking the meaning from bypass certain settings.

    in this case, i think at streamyx gateway, there’s the main link and backup link which is the proxy. the main link might be heavily congested and switching the backup link will make it faster…

    not sure..usually the ISP guys will know about this or big shot companies that TM values the most. indispensable customer for them!
