How To Increase Traffic To Your Blog?

A simple question that has been repeated (and answered) a million times, but still … not many people can maintain the consistency even though tips of doing it can be found anywhere across the blogosphere. Sometimes, they are just being repeated :) from one blog to the other, written differently of course.

When you have a blog, there’s nothing more important than traffic. Traffic = Money, especially if you are monetizing your blog.

My traffic Secret Is Simple.

Once in a while, just do a few post that can stand the test of time. A post that will remain useful and valued over a long period of time. Something that is related to your niche is better.

How? That you have to figure out yourself :) If you want to know how I do it, stay tuned for my next post.

What ever you do, concentrate on getting organic search engine traffic. Why?

  • Ask yourself, if you are looking for something on the internet what do you do. Google it, right?
  • When others are using the search engines, they are actually searching for your site :)
  • And of course, organic traffic is free.

Anyway, don’t worry. I’ll share my tips. Drop by more often :) This post is my response to Dean’s comment.

    Use traffic exchange, but dot ever use adsense on your site that used traffic exchange program on it..

    aku rasa ada cara lain lg azwan…depend on organic traffic semata2 pun susah jg – since kita xtau search term popular aper yg akan diguna’kan oleh pelawat..

    No, priority aku memang dari organic traffic. Ada byk cara nak evaluate search term ke site kita, dan juga yang popular dengan niche kita.

    Not really. blog lama aku, azwanhadzree, jarang diupdate. last sekali pun 10/01/09 hari tu. Traffic masih konsisten, walaupun menurun ke 200 + per day

    early stage of blogging, mmg aku tergila2 ngan traffic, sampailah aku kena ddos attack masa ge2008 ngan euro2008. beijing2008 sipi2 lagi nak kena. terus aku give up. hehe :)

    you could, but such keyword would invite a lot of spammers to your site who will try to promote adult sites, so make sure you are either protected with Akismet or Spam Karma :)

    Organic traffic is always consistent if you optimized your site for the keyword you want properly. that’s why on all my site, i will build organic traffic even though it will take 3-6 months.
