Is Google Buzz Bugging You?

Buzz is like something that is better than Twitter, but not as heavy as Facebook. Some people like it, some no and there are some that even say that buzz is bugging them. So … if you feel the same, then just turn it off.

Scroll to the bottom
Click ‘turn off buzz’

But, if you are like me, that likes Buzz a little and hates it a little, you could also be selective with the Buzz. Don’t like to see the update of a certain post, turn it off.

Log in to GMail
Go to Buzz
Find the buzz you dont like
Click on the arrow next to comment – top right of the buzz
Click ‘Mute this post’

There you go, two simple way to turn off your buzz.

Google has finally developed technology that can literally sift through your shit. Hah! If you think that Google is the best thing that was ever invented, think again They might be looking into your shit in the near future. Seriously, privacy is going to be like things in the past.

Google vs Bing

Noun:
A widely used search engine that uses text-matching techniques to find web pages that are important and relevant to a user’s search.

Now …. it seems like a lot of traffic has started to come from BING. This is what I noticed from my traffic statistics and I am sure that in the future, the percentage will be bigger.

So, should we have a new meaning of BING in the dictionary

FeedMalaya: A New Blog Aggregator

If an aggregator = a person who collect things.
Then, a blog aggregator = a blog that collect things.
Correct?
Of course it is correct. Just replace ‘things’ with blog content and you hit bulls eye.

Although it integrates account login with Facebook, login in only allows you to like/unlike the feeds and also leave comments. Leaving a comment will automatically post it to your wall including the link to the FeedMalaya post. Cool!

The picture below shows that I have already log in to FeedMalaya using my Facebook id.

While this one, is my wall after I commented on one of the post at FeedMalaya.

You just can’t join FeedMalaya. You need to suggest your blog and wait for it to be approved. You can only join if you have a blog that provide readers with insightful, informative, and technology related content (like mine … )

If you meet their basic requirement, why not? It provides you an option to promote your blog and if it gets commented it will be further promoted to Facebook’s walls. However, FeedMalaya does not accept blogs that provide a racists, political, entertainment, and internet marketing content. So, forget about marketing your products with FeedMalaya.

p/s I haven’t registered my blog nor send a request, yet.

WiFi in RapidPenang buses

RapidPenang Sdn Bhd (RapidPenang) is the first bus company in the country to have WiFi facility in its buses in a move to get more people to use public transportation (Correction: According to Odyssey Prestige Coaches Sdn Bhd, they have been providing this free service since Nov 2008 for their KL-Sing-KL route and the KL Hop-On-Hop-Off service).

Its chief executive officer, Azhar Ahmad, said for a start, the company was installing the facility in two of its buses, one on the bus which plies between Balik Pulau and the Bayan Lepas International Airport and the other, the one which plies the Teluk Bahang-Batu Feringgi-Weld Key route.

He said the use of the WiFi facility would be free and that the buses would have special stickers for easy identification by passengers.

I hope we will start to see more places with free WiFi. Is it time to consider a PDA like mobile phone?
