Blocked By Websense

I was chatting with an old friend yesterday. We chatted about a lot of things, from our own blog projects to kids. Then he asked,

lama kau tak komen kat blog aku, apasal? posting aku dah tak menarik, tertarik ke?

If you have the same question like him. Not that I don’t want to, but lately the Websense Web Filter has been flagging most of my friends site as ‘Social Networking and Personal Sites‘. See below, even my sister’s blog is blocked

Same goes to blogs like InfoMalaya, Affuan andKnizam.

Haih! No more blog hopping during my break.

p/s Websense is an internet filtering software which control access to non work-related sites. It helps to protect your company’s bandwidth and inappropriate content sites. I don’t like it because it blocks me during my free time, but if i’m the IT GM, I love this software .. ha .. ha ..

    Kementerian Pendidikan pun dah block infomalaya, for the same reason as stated in this entry.

    Hopefully, I will write(or rather find a pratical and safe ways) on how to bypass those filtering apps.

    same with UTM internet also block a lot of blog.. for example vangardx.net my senior’s blog was blocked. reason: proxy avoidance ke ape ntah

    I got the same issue with Vangard’s blog. Lama dah tak pergi site tu due to that.

    Another way is using another approve server as proxy.
